Summary

  • The FlexiJack on Sound Blaster X-Fi cards can function as a Mic In/Line In or a Digital I/O jack.
  • Only one device can be active at a time on the FlexiJack.

Note: There is a difference between X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Cards for the following models:

  • For SB046X and SB055X series: Supports Microphone-in, Line-in, Digital In and Digital Out connections to which the SPDIF setup applies.

  • For SB073X series : Supports Microphone-in, Line-in and Optical out connections. On a SB073X series card, this jack does not have the Digital-in function to support the Digital I/O Module. It does however connects to external digital audio devices that accept stereo PCM or compressed Dolby Digital/DTS Bitstream from the Optical output. This will require using a "Toslink to Mini Toslink" cable for connection only.
